Dr Wayne Petherick is an Australian authority on criminal profiling and workplace psychology. Wayne is an acknowledged expert in a number of areas of psychological profiling and has provided input into numerous government initiatives over a range of topics, including workplace violence, criminal profiling and abuse matters. Over the past decade, he has put over 6,000 personnel through situational awareness and de-escalation training, focusing on how to deal with aggressive and difficult customers in any service industry.
His Master of Criminology thesis was on statement analysis, specifically examining whether there are differences between deceptive and truthful statements. His doctoral research examined the theory and process differences in criminal profiling methods.
